Rose Droll shares "Hush" off Your Dog out Nov 16

Posted on October 5th, 2018

San Francisco's own Rose Droll is set to release her debut album entitled Your Dog out November 16th, in conjunction with UK label Double Denim Records. Pre-order it HERE.

The first single, "Hush" dips a toe in some of her most experimental and avant-garde material yet, complete with rap-influenced vocals and rhythms and a catchy refrain about wanting to feel a connection with anyone else – “And next to nothing, I might love and you might love me / See me sweetly / I’m next to nothing somebody come on and hug me / See me sweetly.”

Your Dog was self-recorded and self-produced in a duplex in LA’s Highland Park and in a quiet cabin in Big Bear, mastered by Warren Hildebrand (Foxes In Fiction, Ricky Eat Acid, (Sandy) Alex G). Rose plays every instrument on the record, including guitar, piano, drums, bass, cello, and glockenspiel.
