Your favorite pop-punk princess, Lisa Prank, just shared a video for her song "IUD" today on The Grey Estates. Robin was interviewed by TGE and gives a little context into the song: “The writer Sheila Heti wrote this book I love called 'Motherhood' about her struggle with deciding whether or not to have children, and I wrote “IUD” based on a prompt to write a song about that topic to perform for a date on her book release tour. When I said yes to the event, I was in a serious relationship and I thought I’d write some sweet love song about maybe wanting to have kids. But by the time the event rolled around I had completely procrastinated on writing a song and was in the middle of a dramatic breakup, so this song about contraceptives and lies came out instead.”
Perfect Love Song is available to purchase and listen to wherever finer music is streamed.
